Tamales are a Mexican tradition, and thanks to Isadora Beans, now there’s a new version that you can’t miss out on.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup of Isadora® Whole Pinto beans
5 cups of corn dough
1 cup of shredded Oaxaca cheese
1 cup of butter
3 tablespoon of baking powder
Damp corn leaves
Salt
Guarnición
Salsa verde
Cream

HOW TO COOK

Beat the butter, then add the dough, salt, baking powder and water to make a spongy dough.

Shape the tamales in the damp corn leaves, then fill with Isadora Beans and cheese. Seal and place into a steamer.

Cook for approximately 30 minutes or until the tamale inside can be easily separated from the leaves.

Serve hot with salsa and cream.
