INGREDIENTS

1 pouch of Isadora® Whole Pinto Beans
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 chicken breast, cubed
3 cups of water
2 tablespoons of chicken bouillon powder
2 jalapeños peppers, chopped
1 teaspoon of dried oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
1 cup of shredded cheese
Fresh cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons of oil
Salt and pepper to taste

HOW TO COOK

Heat oil in a pot, then add onion and sauté until transparent. Add garlic, chopped peppers and chicken, let cook for 5 more minutes until the chicken is slightly browned.

Add the beans, water, chicken bouillon powder, oregano and cumin. Cook 10 minutes until the chicken is well-cooked and the flavors well-incorporated.

Garnish with cheese and cilantro and serve with bread.
